Tangier

Thousands of years of human history linger in this city, conquered and liberated many times, a point of uncounted arrivals and departures.

It is not without a reason that Tangier attracted many writers, actors and artists, being not only a port for trading oriental delights and western valuables, but a haven for those dealing in culture, ideas and dreams, leading to a diverse range of cultural influences and religious beliefs.

The ancient Berber and Phoenician town was colonised first by the Portuguese, then the Spanish and the English crown, not to forget the French, before Marocco gained independence in 1957.
